This three hour webinar will cover advanced skills in child centered play therapy. It will begin by looking at the “six conditions necessary and sufficient for change” (Dee Ray, Phd, RPT-S) in play therapy. These conditions will be used in the play therapist exploration of the metaphors that are presented in the clients’ play.
Participants will recognize, acknowledge and consider how these metaphors in play fit into their clients’ lives and the progress they are making in play therapy.
Participants will:
Discuss the six conditions necessary and sufficient for change in play therapy
Recognize, acknowledge and consider metaphors and their purpose in play therapy
Explore how progress in play therapy can be seen in a clients’ metaphors.
